Vents were very dirty making the air bad. Air filter was changed by management butt the vents, ducts need to be cleaned. Nice furnishings. Kitchen stocked well. Nice frig.
Nice First Anniversary
Even though it was a short trip, we did enjoy our time there. Unit 213 had most everything we needed, and we were very comfortable. I liked how you could park right next to the beach at the end of the drive. We will most likely be back!
Fabulous condos, beach not so great..
We scheduled a VERY last minute trip to Port Aransas and needed to find a pet-friendly condo. I spoke to Josh on the phone who was very helpful and also answered my questions about crowds, etc. When we arrived we were very impressed with the condo. It was extremely clean and tastefully decorated. The condo was very well stocked with everything from a blender to a toaster to a vacuum for keeping that sand away. There were plenty of towels, clean sheets, blankets, and even nice quality toiletries - spa soap, shampoo, etc. There was even a unique quilted pad covering the couch, I am assuming it was for guests with pets. It was obvious that the maintenance company and housekeeping stay on top of things. We had stayed at Port Royale next door many years ago and this was a much nicer condo and we would definitely stay there again. The beach was just a short walk away. My only disappointment was the beach. It was not crowded, but there was a tremendous amount of traffic driving back and forth that made it difficult to relax when traveling with kids. The beach was not super deep, and the traffic path went between the sitting area and the water, if that makes sense, so our beach towels were on one side of the "road" to be out of the tide and the water on the other side. When we were building a sandcastle the cars were close enough I could have touched them. We used to come to this area many years ago and I had never seen a car on the beach before, I don't even know where the cars were going as there was no beach road access in walking distance, but it was like some sort of busy thoroughfare they just kept driving back and forth and back and forth so that the beach was hard to enjoy. And driving a LONG way back and forth, not just coming to the beach to park. If I was the management of all of those condos such as La Mirage, Mustang Club, Port Royal, etc. I would try to make that stretch of beach car free to protect my customers and prevent the beach from becoming a roadway.
